Help Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman USB Tether problem

I am currently using a Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman.When I USB tether my phone to my PC(Windows 7 Ultimate SP 1-64 bit) it works properly for some time after which the internet connection on my mobile flickers i.e it goes for some time and then comes back again.And i cannot use the net connection.It works properly after I open the USB wire and reconnect it again.I am situated in India adnd use Vodafone.
PLEASE HELP!!!
