Help Sony Xperia Z1

Been looking at many phones and opted for this due tomozz. I wanted to ask about loading xvid type videos on it will they work or will it be the same story as the ps3 when you have the copyright protection thing.

I've never tried xvid, so can't comment. Anything I've encoded to mp4, I've never had any problems with though so you might be best re encoding your stuff again.

Many thanks for your quick reply. I have tested some films on my new Xperia Z1 and to be honest the video software that comes installed does not play everything. So I stuck on MX Player and that now plays all my stuff. I really wish the likes of sony, samsung etc allowed the right codecs to play all forms of video.

MX is good, give Dice Player a go as well.

Any advice is welcome I will look up dice player and give it a go with the different formats.

I have rocket player and mx player and they play any format I throw at them...
