Help Soon to be Note 2 user

Hey everyone I'm an iPhone 3GS user (Had it for 2-3 years now) and I'm planning to switch to a Note 2 over the next few weeks, though one thing I was wondering is, are apps from google store universal? Example will an app which works on the s3 work on the note 2, also if an app from the s3 does work on the note 2 will it be fullscreen? Or will it only be the screen size of the s3? Thanks in advance

Unless an app was designed to work with a specific device (which is rare), it is universal. And yes, it will use the full screen on both.

Apps are universal for the most part. I've only encountered a handful of apps that weren't useable on the Note 2. What you will encounter alot is an app that was made for a certain phone that is compatible with the Note 2 however the graphics will be either squished or widened depending on the image sizes. Most times it's okay and doesn't affect the look/feel of the app however, other times, it'll just look like crap.

All in all, you shouldn't have any real issues with app compatibility.

I own both the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 and yes the apps work full screens on both devices

no need to worry!

but yes unless an app was specifically designed for let's say the GN2 you will not find it for the GS3.

Just to ad a bit on those that may look pants on the Note 2, none of them will be worth having anyway.
