SOPCAST Application Installation fail

Help, I was installing Sopcast (for android) from there website for only the installation failed part way though. The phone restarted with no evidence of the completed app. My Phones internal memory is now down to 1.6mg and I cannot find where this extra data is.
The application is not listed anywhere and i believe I have deleted the original setup file.

Did you have enough storage to actually install it?
if it was me, i'd reboot, check storage. Go under Manage Applications, look for something with High Usage, like Google Maps , remove it, then install the app again.

Flash player is usually a good one to remove, since the actual app is on the /System Partition and not the Users Partition.

Only updates are on the user partition so without s-off you can't actually remove Flash Player.

I had space at the time yes. And have rebooted.
I have checked every app twice for high usage and removed all possible updates. Ive used file manager on my PC to check every folder looking for high usage.

Its almost like the file has been installed and taken the space required but its not there.

Is there any other way of listing whats taking up the phones storage

Ive managed now to free up some space by deleting emails and text messages etc and am up to 9meg of free space..

S-Off means unsetting or bypassing the NAND security flag. Gives you the ability to read/write to any part of the phone's internal storage.

You get it using alpharev or revolutionary tools (have to be rooted already to use alpharev). See the faqs and guides linked in the All Things Root Guide sticky post in the root subforum.

Do not rush into it without understanding what is involved. This is altering critical parts of the phone, and does void your warranty. Many of us have done it, but it shouldn't be done lightly and without understanding.
