just wondering if anyone has experience with this on the budget tablets ?
my brother has a dirt cheap china thing I believe it is android 1.6 cost him well under half of what my budget tablet cost.
his screen while I can tell it is cheap (low view angle, not very responsive, impossible to see in daylight) the colours and the picture are still very clear,
yet on my budget (don't get me wrong it still cost a bit) tablet, it seems mostly fine when watching movies but when any large static colours come on screen looking close (sometimes at a distance with whites) It feels like I am staring into a crystallised rainbow.
I read somewhere that the factory screen protectors can do this effect and the protector does have some rainbow to it at angles but when peeling it back at the corner the screen still has the crystallised appearance.
I may send it back but I was wondering if it is something covered by warranties or is it just one of those things to expect from a cheaper tablet? it also makes me wonder why my brothers dirt cheap tablet has such a clear screen but my mid-range budget would look so bad on static colours?
second thing it also occasionally has audio pops but this is for the most part ignorable, is there any sort of setting I can mess with to try reduce them??
I had upgraded 2 of the manufacturers firmwares and the audio problem persisted.
The jist of it my brothers dirt cheap thing makes a better media player experience than my mid-range device
any thoughts, suggestions ?
