Sound distortion during audio/video playback. Will it be fixed?

I'm a current Gnex user but I've thought about returning the Nexus for the Rezound until I ran across this problem. I don't know if HTC knows about this or if there is a fix but I record a lot of videos and don't want some stupid static garbage ruining the video. The static starts at the :17 mark and continues after that. Thanks.

I have that problem now on ky rezound but my dad doesn't so its a hardware issue for some
