Help Sound Distortion?????

Hey i got my ZTE Awe at black friday, and im starting to have some sound distortions when i use music apps. I play games and watch videos, but that seems to have noo issues. Only the music applications, like play musics, and the ZTE music app have the sounds distorted. Is someone else having this issue, i thought it was the equalizer but that didnt really seem to change anything, i even messed with the SRS settings, and still no luck, what should i do?????? Yes i am rooted, with Cydia Impactor!!!! And second core is active, and GPU is clocked at 400MhZ.

go into the sound settings of the phone, scroll down to where it says srs sound enhancement, try disabling or changing those settings.

This is a known issue and is not curable... Its kernel/driver related

Yeah it makes phone call quality horrible to other people..sounds like the volume is way to low and to other awe phones its even worse. sounds like the ear piece speaker is busted and the voices sound like audio where the quality has been reduced to the lowest levels resulting in a tinny sound like talking through cans. im looking at the new htc device that just landed on the site. i know with htc,my phone will be of superior quality even if it isnt one of their high end models.

that's strange my phone and wife's has no distortion ways so ever I geuse we got one of the good ones
