Help Sound issues (Need Help Please)

I have had the phone for about three days now, and for the first two days everything was doing fine and technically is still doing fine. Everything except my ringtones (Notifications & Phone Calls) is playing fine. The issue is that when I get a call or a text message my ringtones nor notifications tones will go off (yes I do have both of them fully turned up and I also have a tone assigned for them both) anyways this is really frustrating cause i love the phone but this is becoming a bit of a downer for me and I would like to get this issue solved. So if anybody can help me or is experiencing these issues PLEASE feel free to respond.

Did you go into Sounds settings and make sure you did not accidentally turn on silent mode?
