Sound lag

Hi, first post

While watching videos on youtube on my HTC Desire, I noticed a lag in the sound vs. the video. That lag isn't present when I watch it on my laptop (well, the typical 53ms lag yes, but nothing else).

What can I do to fix this? I've tried multiple videos and all the same results.

Is there a video player I should test this out with, using 5-10 minute clips?

It's a known problem with the video player.

Other players from the market might give you better results. And - fingers crossed - hopefully it's something that has been addressed in the forthcoming Android update (Froyo). Does anyone with 2.2 installed know if there's any improvement?
