Sound settings and GMail problems

Hey guys, I've been looking in various forums for some help with these problems I've been having, I'm hoping maybe someone here can help.

I've had my Elite since May 17, and i've noticed two problems. My first:

The custom ringtones on my Elite seem to be resetting themselves every time I restart my phone. It's been a bit tricky to nail the problem as it seemed to be all of the sounds resetting (alarms, notifications - Handcent, ringer, email), then it was only my text notifications. Now, it seems it's gone back to resetting all of the sounds. Does anyone know why this may be happening? I've tried deleting all of the ringtones from my SD card and re-adding them, but that didn't help.

Second problem:

It seems that if I add a second GMail account, any app that I try to download saves to the secondary, business email. I would like to keep all of my apps on my personal account. I have tried toggling between GMail accounts in the Market, but that doesn't seem to do anything - they all still save to the business account.

Help?

Thanks anyone who takes the time to read or reply.

I've had both of the problems you describe. For the custom ringtones, I moved them from the "external SD" to the "internal SD" and that helped a lot. I also installed Ringo to get rid of some default settings that were hanging on from somewhere (??). That seems to have done the trick.
For the secondary email problem, I have no clue.

Could you explain to me how to move the ringtones to the internal memory?

Thanks so much for the reply.

fearthephenom - when you attach your phone to the PC via USB, you will see both the internal and external "cards". They're not labeled as such, but my external had some old files on it, so it was easy to tell them apart. Just find your custom ringtones on the old and move them to the new. Look for or create a folder called Notifications. There's another called Ringtones and another called media. I put my file in all of them just to cover the bases. If you don't want to use the PC, there are file manager apps available. One good one is Ghost Commander. You should be able to do the same with it.

Thank you so much! Looks like this worked perfectly.
