Help Sound Stops Working thunderbolt

I've noticed that occasionally my sound will stop working on the phone. Say if I get a message notification or try to use my speaker, there is nothing. I have verified the sound is all the way up and in fact, I do not receive any audible notification of it getting louder or softer.

Is anyone else receiving this problem and does anyone know of a fix?
