Hello,
I'm relatively new to the Android operating system. I'm currently running Ice Cream (My phone is locked to Ice Cream by my service provider). I have a Samsung Galaxy S II X, and I'm not sure if I'm having an issue with the phone or whether this is just something that comes with the phone. Every time I wake my phone while notification sounds are enabled, the phone makes a swooshing noise (if notifications are off, it just crackles). I would really (REALLY!) like to turn this waking sound off. I can't afford having my phone make a noise every time it wakes it up. Currently, I just have my notifications off and deal with the crackling (and I have dealt with it for the past 4 months). Unchecking the all the boxes in Settings>Sound>System does not solve the problem. Can anybody tell me how to remove the waking sound/crackling?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!
