Sounds Off Mode????

I would like to know whether I can shut my sounds and vibrate modes off so that my calls and texts will come through still, but not make any noises. I dont want to keep shutting my phone off every night.

hold the power button, a menu will pop up, click "Silent Mode" will turn off all sounds..

not being an arse or anything, but how can you have a 30$ a month data package phone and not know how to turn off the sound??

There are a couple ways to do this:
Keep pressing the volume down button until it shows silent (second to the last setting, last is vibrate).
You can also go to settings>sound & display>ringer volume

I use Beautiful Widgets, they have one called beautiful silent. Put it on your home page and just touch it when you want silence.

ok guys, tried the "silent mode" and called my phone to make sure. It rang out loud. Dont want vibrate either because I am sleeping when I want silent. I will try "silent mode" again, maybe i MESSED IT UP.
