Root Source built kernel!!!

Ok flashing back to to stock boot.img did not solve the speakerphone issue. What now?

Edit: proper word to use would be is the "microphone" not working :P

Where was the stock boot.img from?
Being that this issue hasn't been reported it is also likely that it is a hardware issue

mindriddle, I can confirm no mic on my phone either. Not sure when it happened, I've been stressing this phone hard, might need a factory reset, heheh

ok i can confirm that the 2 kernels I tried here disables microphone function and the backup stock copy that downthemachine provided is the only one that brings the microphone back. Will keep using stock kernel for now as I need mic function :)

I used my own stock boot.img and got mine working again. We'll try to track down the problem. Thanks for the info!

I've been using this kernel for a week already and never have mic issues.
Maybe trying a factory reset will fix it.

uh please remove my name from teh OP.

there is a kernel here without source and i dont want that gpl violation with my name involved :P

my apologies shabby, i thought this kernel was built from source, u, agat, interloper all helped with it, just figured id show cred. Name is off, my bad.

lol nah man its built from source, just no link to the source code used for this kernel is here, which means it could be considered a violation of GPL.
