Help Space dissappearing

Newb4Life

Newbie
I have tried everything from root cache cleaners to moving all my apps to the sd card and all my internal space it gone.

I am thinking that it is the market storing useless apks.

Anyone know where market stores such files?

Or any other ideas as to where my internal space is?

As you play games or use certain apps they build in data size, saving high scores, pictures, bookmarks etcetera.
If you play alot of games or games that save at checkpoints and have lots of stats then they grow pretty fast.

Try cleaning old data and using a link to SD or alltosd style data mover.

i had this problem also, after deleting everything i found out that the mymetro app had 70 MB of storage on it.

I do not play any games and I don't really use many apps that would need to save anything other than dolphine and google maps.

I also already stated above that I had already moved every app I could to to sd card already via app2sd.

I do not use mymetro but where would it be stored at and what files can I remove?

Do a search in Root Explorer for "Tombstones" delete all the files inside that file if theres a lot and also delete your dalvik....

Thanks a bunch!

Only had about 1mb in tombstones but I cleared almost 50 from the dalvik cache. I didn't even know you could clear that safely!

Yeah you can. I use to do it once every 2 weeks or so on my Ascend. You can wipe the cache and dalvik cache in cwr with no ill effects just dont wipe anything else.
