looks like with gingerbread when you type using swype enabled, it doesn't auto-add spaces between words. Have you guys noticed that?

If you're using it in the web address bar at the top, I believe that's deliberate so you can swype in an address without having to use the backspace button to connect the words.

I use Swype and haven't noticed this issue. It is a bit laggy tho, and while I know the GB update shouldn't affect this, it also seems that the word predictability built into Swype has become completely unreliable.

I like not having Swype auto space in the address bar. It's far more convenient to press the space key than to constantly backspace when typing in an address. I know that Swype auto spaced in the address bar in Froyo, but it didn't in the beta that was out at the same time, and it didn't on the MyTouch 3g I had before my X.
