Finally!!! $9.99 Pantech Discover batteries on ebay. Free shipping. I bought the first 3. Yes, they are shipped from China, which can take forever. I'll let you folks know how well they work, but I've had nothing but good experience with previous low-price battery purchases for my departed Samsung Infuse.

That would be great if you could post how well they turn out. I myself just purchased the 4400 mAh battery, and will also post the results once I get a few cycles of use out of it. There is also a website for Pantech batteries and accessories at: www.pantechbatteries.com

The post office lost the package :-/ The company is going to ship me out a new one, but it is shipping from China, so that's at least a couple more weeks before I get it.

11 days from eBay purchase to receipt. Return address on the envelope is Singapore. Plugging into charger now.

Well, that didn't work. Battery from AT&T labeled PBR-51B. Batteries received from eBay purchase labeled PBR-49A. Wrong size. Resolving issue....

There is now a seller on eBay with PBR-51B batteries at $9.99 each. Labeled 2100mAh, like stock batteries. Cell and battery manufactured in China. (Stock battery is Japan and Korea, respectively.)

Charges and works fine.

One other thing Bruce I noticed in your signature you have a Galaxy 4S. at AT&T, did that 4S have better reception at home than your Discover??
