Accessories Spare Wall Charger

I've been on an exhausting search for a spare HTC charger with zero luck so I've started looking at ebay for one. Does anyone use a wall charger that not an HTC? I've seen a few LG chargers for cheap money but I'm worried about it blowing up my battery. I also really don't want to spend $30 at verizon for a new on either. Suggestions?
 
Google search "HTC U250" and you will find a few places to buy the wall plug for about $20 shipped. You will have to supply your own usb cord for a couple bucks.
