Help Speaker Crakling-App issue or phone issue?

Okay, so with the go SMS pro app, sometimes when I get a notification of a text the speaker makes a crackling sound. However, this only occurs with the go sms pro app and nothing else. I can play music, ringtones, everything and it all is normal. This only seems to happen when the go SMS app is involved. So is this a problem with the app or with the actual phone somehow?

sounds like the app...

if you play the ringtone via a music player does it crackle? it could also be that ringtone but yes, I would say it is the app or the ringtone itself.

My phone notification crackles sometimes when I use Juice Defender, but I also noticed it when going through the settings in the Contacts app.
