Root speaker issue

Ok ,I updated radio,rooted with unrevoked 3 and installed syraider vanilla.Now i have external speaker issue.Sound crackly like its blown.Anyone have a similiar issue?Dont know if its software related or not.Was fine before I updated.Thanks Chris
 
sounds like a hardware issue. check the support forum and see all the other posts about blown speakers.
 
if not call verizon and join the refurb club. my eris i had 4, the inc, im already on my second one, but it was brand new since within 30 days... im this close to going to trade for the droid2 within my 30 day
