My problem is the speaker phone turns on while I'm wearing a wired headset. If I'm making a call and I plug the headset in, the speaker phone turns on every time! Sometimes during a call it will turn itself on while the headset is plugged in. Tonight it kept turning on every few minutes during an hour-long call.
I don't have to do anything for this to happen, though it is much more likely if I am trying to do something else, like look at email or browse the web while I'm on the call.
I'm willing to root this device to fix this. I'd be happy to disable the speaker phone entirely, as I never, ever use it. I almost never make a call without the headset.
I've seen some threads from other phones on similar issues, but none of them had any solutions. Since nobody has posted on this in all this time, perhaps it's just my particular phone. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
