Ok, I'm not 100% positive but I believe this problem started after I updated to Gingerbread. I noticed it first when my alarm was very quiet. The sound was coming out of the ear speaker and not the main speaker on the back. Rebooted and it started working. Happened again a few days later and rebooting fixed it again. It's now starting to happen almost daily. Reboot works every time. Videos, the ringer,game etc all plays from the ear speaker when the problem occurs. Plugged my ear buds in and they work fine.
