Help Speakers no longer work !?????

Unless you have a defective device, you'll probably discover the reason for loss of sound by looking around the menus carefully. ;)

I'd think back to any recent changes, apps/widgets, airplane mode, etc.
 
ive checked everything
taken the sim, battery and sd card out, left itm then the speakers worked. now its stopped again. i get sound via headphone but theres no sound otherwise
 
yeah sounds like a hardware fault unfortunately. I do hope HTC arent going to do a Toyota here. they've always made pretty bomb proof phones in the past but recently ive started to notice quality issues with the hardware they churn out. and since the last sales figures, they're gonna pump out more and more phones, i have a feeling that quality control is going to slip and if they dont watch it, ppl are just going to drift onto another hardware manufacturer.
 
good customer service from htc as theyre collecting it tomorrow! if it wasnt for DROID TV id consider an iPhone 5 this year...dissapointing really as i like this phone alot
