I'm extremely curious about the specs of this phone. How fast the CPU is, and if anyone here has it with Cellcom, does it use the same Motorola Blur as the D1? I just would like a full out explanation on this device!

1. CPU can be overclocked dup to 1.2GHz.
2. Know of no one using it on Cellcom, but I Googled a bit and it seems to be a GSM network, not sure of 3G bands though.
3. It does not use Blur; thank God that!
A greate device and even though over a year old is still a very capable phone worth recommendation. Depending on your budget you might however, consider the new version of Milestone 2 with a faster CPU by default, twice as much RAM (256MB Milestone and 512MB Milestone) and a lot more space for applications (140MB Milestone and at least 1.5GB Milestone 2).
I'm getting the device from Cellcom and they only offer the Milestone. I know that they don't have Milestone 2, which sucks, but thanks for the advice! Lots!
Milestone 2 is not available yet, but if you can talk to your provider and ask about it it would be a nice upgrade over the original Milestone.

and hopefully you can remove Motoblur!!!![]()
, a long time to wait TBH.That will probably be the first thing to do. The only problem is I am going away from civilization and will not be back until January, so that is when I will get the Milestone 2, a long time to wait TBH.

We will see, but at this point it seems highly unlikely as it would mean sending from the UK to the US and from US it would be delivered to me and I will be on the other side of the world, Asia. I will learn some patience and waitouch that sucks, well you can always have someone send it to you![]()

So does the this run at a 1GHz processor? I'm not sure on this. I've heard 512 GHz and well I could use that x/x2 overclocker on the market right?
No thats wrong they mean the stock runs at 550MHz and can be overclocked to 1.1GHz with no issues.
And could I use that Droid X/X2 overclocker app on it?

Not sure about that one, I'm going to guess and say yes![]()
