Spectrum Refarming Has Started

I said i've never seen these speeds before because my previous phone was an admire. If that clears things up.xD

That would be sick! I hope they work on broward next

Me too -In Dade/Broward I get 2- 4 Mps.

November 16 Update- getting 6 snd even a few tests with 7 Mbs !

......but don't know how long this will last.

May go down again then back up etc. but seems like they are definitely doing what they said .

Wow.

Metro PCS is getting serious.

Internet at 7 Mbs is really fast and fluid-feels almost like Wifi -even though

nowhere near as fast technically as a good wifi connection-on most sites it feels very close .

This Refarming is nothing compared to the future LTE network with tmobile even this Verizon guy is saying its gonna be something serious Tmobile AWS
Carrier Aggregation would help both throughput & capacity & its more likely to hit the mainstream market in 2013, but again, keep in mind that 20Mhz nonaggregated Slice is always gonna have a better spectral efficiency & battery life than inter/intra band carrier aggregated spectrum. TMobile is currently the only US carrier that has a clear path to 20MHz in AWS after MetroPCS merger. They have no need to aggregate even though their infrastructure will support it with Release 10 Equipment.
Verizon has in many markets 40Mhz AWS LTE chunks ready to be deployed, but we don't know in what time frame, shape or form that'll happen.
Actually after MetroPCS merger, TMobile will have contiguous AWS slices in most top 25 markets, in many enough for more than 20x20 150mbps capable LTE. As long as they move their HSPA+ in the PCS that's gonna be one serious LTE network.
