Help Speech Input isn't Free

[Android Question]

What kind of 1984 feature in Androids microphone input is asterisking out profanity when I attempt to send a text using the button that allows microphone input. I'm not comfortable with an operating system limiting my speech I already have the media to tell me what is "ok".

Don't despair... as with most things Android, there's always a choice.

Go to Settings/Google Voice Typing/Block offensive words and disable the feature.
