Love the feature to invoke Speech-to-text on the android keyboard by pushing the microphone icon and saying your text message instead of writing it. However, I prefer the Samsung keyboard and swype over android keyboard for actual typing. is there a way to invoke speech-to-text on the other keyboards as well? Long-pressing the search capacitative button only invokes Google voice search.

I think Swype said that the microphone/voice dictation function is in their latest version and that it'll be rolled out to phones preloaded with Swype (i.e. Galaxy S phones amongst other ones) in an update soon.

Awesome. Reading through the comments in the first link I also found out that you can actually easily swithch between keyboards by long-pressing on the text input field.
