Just got the Tbolt this morning. I did a speed test and my download speed won't go over 2000kbps, but my upload speed is 41477kbps... why is this and can I fix it?

Not sure if this is a joke, but I'll bite.

Either you incorrectly read the numbers on the speed test application, or more likely there is a glitch with the speed test application you are using, because 41477 kbps upload is not possible with Verizon 4G. It's not possible with any cellular connection, and only barely possible on high end corporate or university owned T1 lines.

2000 kbps is a normal number for download speed though.

no joke, I ran the speedtest.net application and it read those exact speeds. I think it might be the sim card...

Yeah, i'm getting the same readings. It's either an error, or the fact that barely anyone is using the resources.

But, I will say this.

HOLY FREAKIN LORD THIS 4G IS FAST GOD DAMN!

Do you think I need a new SIM card? my connection is extremely unreliable and constantly moving from 4g/3g/1x. Speed is slow for being in a dark red 4g area....

noticed the same behavior with my 4g, but i'm in an extended 4g coverage area. gonna try it out tomorrow at work and see how it goes. loving the phone so far though!
