Speeding up galaxy

Guys

i feel my s3 has slowed down for whatever reason in response times for calling, opening new apps, browsing through gallery etc. i'm on everything stock and only have 15-20 apps and haven't installed anything new off late. Is there a way to delete cache or do something else to bring it back to its speedy days?

Thanks

Yeah mate. I cant remember the layout of the stock recovery but turn the phone off, turn it on by holding in Power, Home, and Volume Up at same time, hold them til it vibrates. Then use the volume buttons to scroll to "clear cache partition" its either power or home button to make the selection, cant remember

P.s, people will probably shout at me for this lol but i find App Cache Cleaner a very handy widget to have ;)

done. does power saving mode being enabled or disabled help with overall latency and responsiveness? I know it does when using a benchmark test but not sure in regular usage

Yeah. It underclocks the CPU but in power saving settings you can choose what it does from: disable vibrate, dim the screen, underclock the processor i think.
I dont use powersaving mode ever tbh

The speed it underclocks to (im guessing 1Ghz) isnt too bad though, its functional, things like scrolling just arent as snappy
