I'm also seeding right now.

That's pretty good upload speed for a phone. The average upload speed on home lines is generally under 1mb if you have a download less than 10mb.

I haven't had a phone with WIFI but those WIFI speeds seem good to me. I have FIOS here at home and I get 20/5. Tomorrow I pick up my Inc so I'll be curious to see what kind of speeds I get.

FIOS here too, 35/35.

But on my iPod Touch thru wifi, it only shows 13/13 but not sure if that is a wireless G limitation or the processor in the Touch. When I have run speedtests on my Blackberry through VZW, it is normally far less than 1mbit in each direction.

I was able to confirm phone only connects to my wireless at G 54Mbps. browsing on the INC wifi was a treat...worked fast enough for me...given I only get one bar at the house wifi is always on.

Unfortunately we dont have competition where I live. I can only get Time Warner Road Runner. They have no reason to upgrade their service since they have a captive audience. Since my wife and I both do on call for work we need something better than DSL

Holy S!!!!
Edit - now that I think of it, why "most of the time"?

I should also note we have more wireless access points (and they're 802.11n) in one place than any other place in the world.

I say "most of the time" because it's 10 o'clock and there are 14,000 other students on the network. High usage time.

Not quite true. Speedtest is an app. They have the website, speedtest.net and also apps for Android and iPhone. Its a great speed test. The website doesn't work on most phones because its flash based.

Meanwhile 1.5mb dl is awesome! I wish for that kind of performance in the few square miles of the nation where AT&T supposedly supports 3G. The other day I maxed out at 100kb/sec dl on AT&T's 3G.

And I wish I had 10MB dl and 2MB upload. But hey, my Time Warner cable bill keeps going up! Woohoo, I'm sure I'm paying for something.

Yes they have really large pipes going in. They also have a couple of direct pipes to NYC and intranet 2 running in that campus. What do you want with a school that is full of geeks and 80-20 at best male to female ratio

I just downloaded the xtreme labs speed test on my blackberry storm 1 and I have -80 something signal here. I got 2000ish down, 30ish up. Interested to see how my Incredible does tomorrow.
