But it also clearly states on metro page you AREA and their Coverage has alot to do with it.
I've never seen it get over 3Mbps down in Sacramento. The test I just ran got 2.22Mbps down and 4.82Mbps up.
And that is just an excuse. If you can get a 4G signal you should be able to get 4G speeds. The speeds have nothing to do with how many towers there are since each tower is allocated it's own share of bandwidth.
You really should do your homework before posting stuff your not 100% sure about...I got about the same earlier on an indulge! !!
funny, well you know it all right, than metro phones should work all over the world without any problems since its not the area or the towers right? You really should do your homework before posting stuff your not 100% sure about...
Post a screen shot of your 20mb download speeds lol![]()
Just look on youtube for all the Verizon LTE speed tests. I always hit 20-25Mbit with the Samsung SCH-LC11 mobile hotspot. You're not going to get that with this phone though, all the speed tests I've seen with the LG Revolution top out around 12Mbit.
you need to read and do your research enought said, lol
I do and I have, that's why I have a degree in network engineering with honors.

personally, as long as i dont have to wait more than 5 seconds to load a page i'm happy. I don't watch videos on my phone so that's okay. my 3.2mbps are more than enough![]()
U can watch video with that fluently

Plant City, Florida area, i.e. middle of nowhere.

I don't mean to sound like a jerk. I have used MetroPCS for years. Since the beginning, and they only reason why I am not with them now is because I am now on my company's plan and they pay for it, but after seeing the posts on downloads speeds, I would have been ecstatic coming from a rooted Eris to this., but holy crap Batman, I have download speeds of 20MB plus on Verizon. Metro needs to really bump up the speeds on this.

Unlimited Metro....$45-$55, max.
Unlimited Calls/Text+5gb cap Verizon ....$139 + taxes/fees.
There is nothing on earth for me...that I need 20mb/ps on a phone for.
Metro can't "bump" the speeds, they don't have the spectrum like Verizon. Top max speed right now is 8mpbs, and that's under perfect conditions. I don't think anyone has seen that speed.
Metro is having to push LTE signal through narrow bands on less-than-optimal frequencies. But I appreciate the service they are offering.
But months ago I was getting under 100k on my Optimus M and now for the same prices points ($50 and $60 TOTAL), I'm getting 3-4mbps. I am ecstastic.
EXACTLY.
Well, $50 and $60 max actually, unless you have a family plan, where you then get $5 off. I do have that, so I am paying $55, but for one person it's the full rate -- which is still half of what you pay for Verizon's LTE + data plan.
I could pay for Verizon. And through my company I could even get a corporate 25%-30% discount (I've not checked recently so I forget the percentage.)
Sure if YOUR company is paying in full, yeah, no worries. Go with Verizon, if you want. But if it's your wallet, as it is mine, even with corporate discount I see no need to pay $100 - $130 per month. I have other things I can use that money for. I'm even thinking about cutting back to the $50 plan ($45 fore me, with the family discount) as I'm not sure I'm using over 1GB per month data.

Dude be happy if you lived in Jacksonville, Fl you would have to settle for 1.4.
Sigh...yea be happy with those speeds.i'm jealous of these speeds.i'm in fort Lauderdale and highest speed i got was 2 mpbs down and that's with updated prl 3025
I get 2.5 in pembroke pines
I'm in North Lauderdale close to Coral Springs and this is the highest i got with four bars and in the morning. this speed is fine for watching youtube videos but 3 or 4mpbs would just make the experience so much better.
Is it normal for my best server to be in Tallahassee and not somewhere closer. im on prl 3025
