Help Spell Check not working

The HTC spellchecker is enabled and I'm using the default keyboard.

It will only display the red underline on text messages and no where else like the Twitter app, Facebook app or Firefox.

Is there anyway to change this?

I could not get on with the stock keyboard or the spell check I came from a Samsung, so I put a post on here (link at the end) and I ended up installing the "Google keyboard" from play and then it was like I was using my Samsung again " I don't like change". But if you do install it make sure that you set the Google keyboard as default in the notification bar when you use it or you end up with it half and half keyboard like I did for a day or two.
