Help Spell Correction Not Working

My Thunderbolt is rooted and running Uber BAMF as of a few months ago. Everything was going great and then a couple of weeks ago the spell correction stopped working. I've probably only installed maybe 3 apps recently and it wasn't like I installed an app and then noticed spell correction wasn't working. Anyway, the weird thing is that it still is trying to work but it will tell me misspelled words are wrong but it will also randomly tell me words are misspelled that are spelled correctly. Usually anything with a period after it will be considered misspelled by my phone. Any ideas?

I just happened to check and found out that spell check actually wasn't on but I was still getting the dotted red line under some words like I was misspelling them. I turned on spell check and it's still doing the same thing as when the spell check wasn't on.
