SPen and Lefties

One of the settings for the SPen asks about dominant hand. I'm a lefty and am wondering what is different with this selection. I'm guessing it gauges the tilt of the pen different but can't really see anything noticeable.

I definitely wish there was a left handed version of the phone where you removed the SPen from the lower left corner rather than the lower right but I won't hold my breath on that for future versions.

I haven't played too much with it yet so I can't comment on settings, etc., but I do have a suggestion for removing it. You're right, it is not lefty friendly, eh? I am holding phone in right hand, tilting the phone on its side with a left motion wrist action; this brings the S-pen to the top where it's much easier for your left thumb to remove.

And you right-handed folks don't be laughing at us... we have to be creative sometimes! :)

This lefty will be finding out soon. Most other styli I have used have not had much of an issue, regardless of where the silo is.

Speaking from experience on the original note, this is exactly it (gauges the tilt of the pen). If you are a lefty, it assumes you are pointing the tip of the Spen up and to the right. For a righty, it assumes up and to the left. If you conform to its assumptions, it is very accurate.

ICS on the original Note wouldn't remember the handiness setting (would always default to right even though it would show left still ) when you rebooted. It was a pain, but we lefties are use to hassle. Got a Note 2 ordered at ATT. Can't wait for delivery.
