Help Spen problem after replacing screen - Galaxy note N700

Dear experts,

I am new, I really need your advise for my galaxy note N7000:

I have the screen changed by a shop, then didnt check for Spen to work or not when I get it back.

Everything works fine except Spen, I found now, the shop refused to fix

I have some questions:

1. It should have a magnetic layer attached on the back of the screen for the Spen to work?
For this I could not check if the layer there or not (I could not open the screen), Can you please advise another way to check if the magnetic layer attached on my phone? Can I use *#0*# and select "sensor" to view Magnetic sensor? is the magnetic sensor relative to magnetic layer that is for Spen to work?

2. Can the problem be fix without opening the screen again?

P.S: My Spen works well with other galaxy Note

Please help, thanks a lot

OK, so I have this same problem with my Note 2. I know what the problem is... When you (or they) replace the screen, you need to also replace the S Pen flex circuit. This sits behind the LCD and normally does not come with the screen. I knew something was odd when a cable connector was missing when I installed the screen. I got mine ordered and plan to open my phone back up to install that flex circuit.

I hope this can help others!
