Split Screen Usability Ideas

I've been pondering this one for many weeks. Here are my ideas on where Split Screen feature really shines.

1. Taking notes with the S Pen while watching a video, reading an article.

2. Watching a video while surfing the internet.

3. Looking at a map while text messaging with a friend giving you directions.

4. Looking up a link and sending a link over email.

I'd love to hear some ideas!

Can you do that?

I would love to be able to take notes while reading a book on the kindle app, but unfortunately, the kindle app won't work with multi-view.

oops you're right, that completely slipped my mind. i was thinking of when you view it online, like in google docs or something

So far the only use i've had for the split screen feature is to show it off to my friends... The only feature i actually use is taking notes while doing other things. Who watches a tiny 1 by 1,5 inch video while surfing??

The number one use for split screen appears to be showing off. I haven't used it otherwise.
