Splotches like RAZR?

Owners.. I have a RAZR and all of the batch they have has this splotches when in dark area or sometimes watching Netflix also they appeared.

Are you getting this on your screen? Go to a dark room and fire up on a black background.

I noticed this on my Razr before I returned it when there was an all black screen. So I can confirm, but this is in the wrong section.
 
It has been confirmed by Motorola that it is not a defect and part of the AMOLED manufacturing process.

I believe this is highly discussed in the Razr forum.

Ahh ANY phone with a (S)AMOLED screen is going to have this (non?) issue. You should be fine if you don't look for it :) At least according to Moto it's not a defect.

No one in the states has the phone yet so hard for us to say.

Basically it's an over reaction.

"As far as I can tell, my spots appear to be lessening over time. I've had the Razr since the day it was released & noticed the spots on the boot screen. Nothing major, just mostly along the bottom & 1-3mm in size. Had some downtime yesterday so I streamed about 5hrs of videos & noticed a marked decrease in the size and the contrast of the spots from the beginning to the end.
