Accessories Spoofing a "Circle Case"

Is there a way to make the G4 temporarily "believe" that it is in a circle case? I'd like to see what those "circle apps" look like and see if I like them before getting such a case, but there doesn't seem to be a setting anywhere to spoof the presence of a circle case, nor an app to achieve the same effect. Any ideas?

The HTC equivalent can be spoofed with a magnetic money clip.

If it's like that I wouldn't go for anything stronger than one of those refrigerator magnetic sign thingies, and give it a try.

Thanks. All I need now is an X-ray of an actual circle case to see the magnets' positions (must be some specific pattern to distinguish it from any old case cover, no?). I'll play around and see. (LG should have made the spoofing ability one of the developer options).

It's a finite space - I'd guess you could find it with one of those 2"×2" magnet things pretty quickly just sliding around the back and sides.

And if it's not that, hey, you at least learned what it isn't.

Yep - just googled it - a magnet will trigger it on the G4.

I think any phone that can use a smart-cover with a window in it, uses a magnet in the cover to activate window mode.

The answer is in: to spoof the presence of a circle case, a small magnet must be positioned near the left edge of the screen, a little above the midway line.
