Help Sporatic Emails

My wife and daughter both report that they do not get all their emails on their phones (we're a 3 Incredible family, or at least we will be when mine arrives tomorrow ) Wife's email is through my domain and web host, daughter only has a Gmail account.

Any ideas on why?

Congrats on getting a Dinc. It's difficult to guess what's going on with your family's mail. Most the time if not all.. if your mail is working.. it's working. It might have something to do with their settings on the servers where they get their mail. If it's set to remove messages from server on dnld and they check their mail with a pc in between the times they have their phone checking the servers for mail.. some mail will end up on the pc and not the phone. You will be able to track this better when you have a Dinc in hand and you are checking your own email. Other than that.. I'm without a clue. Enjoy your new phone!

Yeah, that's what I figured, but I thought I'd ask here just in case there was some known issue or a setting that I missed. I did unset the 'delete from server' check box on my wifes for her non-Gmail mail account. Haven't looked at my daughter's at all - the Best Buy guy set it up.

Both use Outlook on the PC and both are set up as POP3 and delete from the server. But, there have been times when we're pretty sure that each PC was off (so Outlook hadn't accesses the server) & mail still didn't come through.

That is peculiar. Maybe somebody has another guess where your messages are going. I know I lose a message or two due to my pop server account's spam catcher. But in my case.. the messages are lost to both my pc mail reader and my phone. As far as I know, both my pc and phone mail box always see the same mail.

I'm sorry I can't help you. When you get your phone and set up your pop3 account.. watch it closely.. set your check for mail option often enough so that you can double check against your pc and see if you are dropping mail runs or only partially dnlding a mail packet. Holler if you figure something out.
