As the old saying goes, "opinions are like A$$ H@@@s everyone's got one," lol. I own a gym and I actually like this look, and NOBODY agrees with me, not even the women bodybuilders at my place, lmao!!!!

putting a bigger girl on the cover of a major magazine is sending the wrong message. that being over weight is OK. can be normal. even worshipped

she is above the ideal healthy size

"What defines beauty today?" SI Swimsuit Editor M.J. Day said in a statement Sunday. "The truth is, times have changed and one size does not fit all. Our position on beauty is well-known -- healthy, curvy, vivacious and bold. It's not a size."
Unless you're her doctor you're in no position to say what "the ideal healthy size" actually is.![]()
"

Well I don't know hey.
I have had issues with doctors in the past for malpractice and arrogance... I find some doctors to be very scary and full of shit to be frank.
Sometimes they say "oh that lump on your leg is nothing don't worry about it!"
And then I find that my Aunty dies a long way down the line because it was actually cancer and took her life the so called "benign lump"... sometimes these doctors are just full of shit and should be suffocated from their horrid arrogance.
But anyway! I am just throwing that out there and believe that people should just love whatever they love or prefer - just like art.

what I am talking about.. is the promotion of a look that is NOT CLASIFIED as good healthy choices.

but facts are facts.
USA has the largest population of over weight people.
a lot of extra fat on the body is not healthy in the long run.. over all

Nope, just pointing out the folly of your logical missteps. Sorry you missed the point of the hyperbole.you are twisting words.
I <heart> irony.i was talking about denial of facts. usa is fat.
and we should take steps to correct this. not promote full-figure as the new thin.
She is not obese, maybe a few extra pounds, but that is more healthy, and a better role model, than the typical anorexic looking stick figure. Remember Kate Moss and "heroin chic"?you are twisting words.
those are examples of how promotion and marketing can confuse the general public on a subject.
in one direction or another.
you can put that firefighter on the news.. he is a hero. put him on Time mag.
but he does not belong a swimsuit mag cover!

Sports Illustrated.. Swimsuit edition...
that is a mag that is targeting a particular segment. and putting a full-figure women.
says something. and promotes something...
and i think it is a wrong message.
