[Sprint] Activation

I recently purchased a nexus for my girl, but its already rooted. Can I activate if its rooted as long as its the stock rom (4.1.2)? I know with the og it had to be a stock ROM, but never activated an aosp phone. I will would imagine its the same.

Yep if its the stock ROM you can activate it. Also I think the new 4.2 AOKP has the Sprint activation stuff built in but I'm not quite sure.
