Haven't had time to set it up, much less play with it yet. I'm about to set it up, download the new one, flash it, and then maybe play around.

Restoring back to Skank, my phone won't go into sleep on this ROM. No matter what I do the screen will always stay on unless I hit the bitton to make it sleep.

3.3.0, I noticed that after I though of restoring back. I'm going to update and see if the problem persist.

You have to turn off "eye candy" and that'll fix your issue. It's in display I believe.

In 3.3.1 eye candy was removed so you shouldn't encounter that issue at all after updating.

The first nightly running like a champ over here!

Nightly it is! I'm just going to start loading the nightlies, thats what I used on Skank and CM back on the Evo.

This is a known issue with aosp-jb roms for toro and toroplus. It doesn't affect all but it is real. I've had it off and on. Not on cna yet but other aosp jb builds. It will be fixed once source drops from what I understand.

To: android-building@googlegroups.com

There's a power management issue that only occurs on AOSP builds but
not on yakju/takju/mysid. From the logs, I assume that one of the
missing proprietary binaries causes a chip to trigger spurious
interrupts, which prevents the CPU from going to deep sleep, and that
shortens the battery life. In my tests, this seems more severe on toro
than on maguro. It's being investigated by kernel engineers

Man, definitely wanting to give this a try but still no Gnex yet. Wife says next weekend we'll upgrade (so like 9 days). Honestly, I'm not jonesing for the upgrade so much these days due to the crappy sprint signal I'm getting at work these days. Allegedly they're still upgrading towers in the area, so I guess once that gets going that I should have LTE up and running which will be nice. Downloading the latest version of CNA anyway so I can have it ready to flash when the time comes!

Nightlies are being released pretty frequently are as stable and solid, with new features. I would keep up with those and just download the latest one prior to upgrading.

Okay , so I've been out for a few weeks and missed the last two updates and the nightlies. Should I dirty flash in stages or jump to the newest nightly?
