[Sprint] Codename Android 3.8.0

3.7 was briefly up but is now pulled. I was able to download it. I got a hot reboot but other than that, it seems good so far.
 
Frenchy, just flashed it on my Toro Gnex (restoring with TiBu now). How's it for you guys? Seems all the VZW folks are on the Sourcery bandwagon.
 
I realize that it's probably to early to say but does the battery life on 4.1.2 seem to have improved?

I ask here since this is such a popular rom and many will update to the 3.8 version.

Yes. Battery life has slightly improved (for me anyways) on 4.1.2 ROM's.
 
Yes it's noticeably better. Nobody has complained about battery on this phone as much as me and my 3G sleep on this phone is better than wifi now. It's hard for me to gauge exactly how much better because lately I have been flashing a new rom and/or kernel every other day.
 
How about 4g sleep :cool: ahhhh...lol. just messing with ya Brent! By any chance have you tried a 512 GPU kernel yet...no noticeable battery drain...just a faster phone...for me anyway.

So I flashed 3.8 last night and I've already noticed a difference on battery life.
Been using the same Franco #218 kernel on both.
May be Placebo but I don't really think so. On my usual drive it home it didn't go down as much as it normally would while streaming Pandora.
 
No my company is a tenant at their HQ campus. Basically they built a giant campus for all their employees and with all the layoffs and outsourcing they have a boatload if unused office space.

It's frustrating because it seems logical to think my signal there would be outstanding but it's not
