Root [Sprint/Cricket] Possibly the most idiotic post ever [System deleted] yeah..

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2369125

So I've been trying to follow this guide I have ubuntu loaded up on another laptop with the file in the desktop, I'm trying to run the cmds in terminal but I'm having a bit of an issue, but I think this could potentially work.

Ok so I ran the cmds on linux and then I took out the sd card from that pc and put it on my s3. I took of the battery and tried to get into download mode. This thing booted back up from the dead! So it showed the download screen for like a second and then it just went into cwm. So right now I'll try to get back to the download mode but holy shit it's alive!!

Got into download mode after realizing I wasn't holding the buttons properly, and was letting go to early. I'm flashing a sprint recovery via odin and hopefully within a few minutes I'll be back from this crazy ride.

So I flashed the stock s3 file via odin and I got my phone back, I also went and flashed a new cwm touch. Then I restored to my old s3 backup. So everything works except I can't turn on the phone anymore without the "flashed sd card" At this moment I can't complain but be thankful that I made it out of the hole. Still I thought ODIN was supposed to rebuild the bootloader?
FINAL EDIT: Apperantly that first Stock S3 ODIN flash wasn't the right one..

The one that worked for me had MD4 in the name somewhere. So thats it, I'm done and out here. I'd like to thank anyone who helped me out tremendously. PM me if you want me to return the favor.

If you made it into cwm, can you no just restore your backup? Your backup should contain all the system files and return your phone to the exact state it was in at the time of the backup.

I've never used a samsung device but you said you have a backup in the OP and in this last post you managed to get into recovery... Seems like you could just restore from there?

Thanks man, after doing the linux trick, download mode is restored via the flashed sd and It's kind of quirky but once you're at that dl screen flashing the proper stock rom via odin got me out! I just installed M.O.A.R rom and I'm excited to finally get my phone back.

Now I just have to find some program to restore the partitioned sd card. But other than that I'm good in that area. Thanks yet again for all your support.
