Root [Sprint/Cricket] Some Help Please....

Hello....I'm new to this site and would like to apologize if there is already a thread on this issue.....the issue I'm having is that my galaxy s3 is constantly going into safe mode by itself and restarting the phone does not get it out of that mode....the only way is remove the battery and that's really annoying because I have a hard case on it and hate having to remove it each time.....so my question is, how can I disable this mode manually?....any help would be greatly appreciated...:)
 
Welcome to the forum sir (or ma'am, whiichever you might be lol) I have a couple questions for you so that I can get up to speed. Are you rooted? If so, what method did you use and what rom are you running? Is it doing this while running certain apks? How tall are you in centimeters? Whats the square root of -1?
 
lol...thank you for the reply....I have not done anything to the phone, I just bought it this past Saturday, so it's straight out of the box....I've installed 2 apps on it, the espn app and a bank app.......I'm wondering if maybe the phone is defective?...I've watched numerous vids on how to put the phone into safe mode and how to get it out of safe mode, but all attempts to get it out fail, until I remove the battery....it's just randomly going into safe mode while sitting idle.......182.88 centimeters would be my height and I'd like to use a life-line for that question about the square root...lol
 
Damnit!!! Noone gets thqt right!!!! LoL kudos to you sir! Anyways, sounds like a bad phone. Id swap it out. Youre within 14 days, so you should be good to swap it

It's definitely defective. As youdoofus suggested, swap it out with Sprint. The Sprint satisfaction policy is still in place so they have no choice but to honor it.
 
Thank you all for your help with this issue!!.......after spending most of the day researching, I think I figured out what was wrong....seems like the protective case I bought for it was the culprit....it was pressing the volume button the whole time and I read that restarting the phone with that button pressed down would boot the device in safe mode, I've removed the case completely and the phone has been working great!.....don't know if this makes any sense..lol...but again, thank you all for your help....
 
What case was it? Maybe you could help people to stay clear of it?
That would have pissed me off trying to figure that one out!:mad:

My apologies for not including the name of the case :o, it's called "OEM Trident Kraken AMS Samsung Galaxy S3 Hard Case Over Silicone w/ Screen Protector - Black"

yes, it was driving me nuts! since removing it, I have not seen "Safe Mode" at all.......:D
