Root [Sprint/Cricket] stock rom

i kinda just wanted a stock that would let me update once jb came out but was still rooted

Once JB drops, it will be a matter of hours before the devs have a rooted version ready to flash without the need to go back to a stock recovery or the concern of automatic updates messing with you. They are very quick about this stuff and seeing as this device is one of the prime ones right now, it will be on the top of everyone's list to get their roms updated as well.

I got a system update message at about 4am. Can't wait to get JB!! Come on devs! Omg my phone is getting antsy. Keeps on asking me to update in the middle of me typing this in hopes that I hit the button by accident

Lol! If you don't want that message to keep popping up and if you're on the stock ROM from Samsung, flash the LI3 link I posted and you will have the latest OTA, rooted, and you won't get that message anymore. Just wipe cache and dalvik cache before flashing.

Well... I don't think so since it will be from Samsung. I'm sure they won't push an update that causes use to have to forcibly factory reset

I'm sure you will not have to do a factory wipe when jb comes out. But from personal experience with phones going from gb to ics.... A factory reset will take care any little bugs and make system run smoother. If your rooted you can always do a data back up that way you don't lose anything including your high score on temple run hahaha

there is a new release (1.9) of the blazer rom, which is about as stock as they come... just fyi
