Root [Sprint/Cricket] Subway Surfers not working on CM 4.3+

***I tried Googling this issue and could only find a suggestion about different kernels in ROMs. I wanted your guys take.

I just recently started playing Subway Surfers. I had my phone rooted running stock 4.3. I had no issues playing the game. I decided to explore the nightly 4.4 CM ROMs so I saved SS in Titanium Backup and flashed a 4.4. When I go to open SS now I just get a black screen. I even uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Still nothing. The game won't load. I googled it and there was a suggestion that I load an older version (SS Rome) of it via an apk file but I want the newer version (SS Mumbai). It's not the end of the world if I don't absolutely have this game but it would be nice if I could run a CM and still have my Subway Surfers :)
 
OK so you said you backed it up with titanium right? By chance are you trying to get the backup to work? Or are you downloading from store? I'd first boot to recovery. Second wipe davlic and cache partition. Third go to playstore and grab a clean copy. If this doesn't work than here's a trick I know. Flash a rom that you know for a fact will work with it. Go download it. Run it. Now back out. Grab a file explorer with root. Now go to /data/app. And give it su permission. Than copy the app out of there and paste it to sdcard. Than go grab the data files. From /data/data. Copy the files for your apk and copy amd paste.
Then you can go back re-flash and push the files back to their prospective places. The app should work from there.

Dais and Rxpert83 you both never cease to have fun on here lol! On a serious note I tried to to install and reinstall and do what you advised but I still came up with a black screen.......so I just flashed the stock 4.3 ROM and then took my copy from TB and am back to playing. Sorry for the delay on replying too. I got caught up trying to get the game to work on CM. honestly couldn't get it to work :(
 
Same thing on mine that's collecting dust, black screen on startup, hellfire 4.4 so would imagine it is compatibility issues.
 
Btw I have decided to stick with stock 4.3 for now. Not my favorite choice but it's better than a black screen for now.
