Root [Sprint/Cricket] System Update While Rooted

I'm sure this is a real basic question, so feel free to point me to any threads that answer it.

I have a rooted S3 and last night it started telling me I have a system update. What's my best course of action? Do I unroot and install it and then re-root? Is there a way I can install it without unrooting? Is there a way I can just delete the file? Thanks in advance!

What version of the S3 do you have, the International? Is it branded or not? Based on these criteria, you can either download and flash the relevant update firmware from Sammobile and flash it with Odin, or unroot the phone and revert to stock recovery. At that point, you can receive the OTA update and let the phone install it.

id definitely avoid doing the ota update when rooted... but it shouldnt even be asking you to do so... :/

try unstalling and reinstalling the apks... if that doesnt do it, try wiping the cache and dalvik caches
