Root [Sprint/Cricket] Wifi theather

Sprint store said I broke the screen on my phone even though there were no cracks.

They gave me a phone someone returned. It is rooted with cwm.

I can't get wifi teather to work.

I can't get foxfi to work.

Any ideas?

Weird...I personally would bring it back and tell them you don't want someone else's rooted phone!
Root it yourself. Who knows what they did to it and why was it returned in the first place??:rolleyes:
 
check the links i posted to the forum showing qbking77s youtube vid showing how to add wifi tether to your phone... (or just do a google video search for "qbking77 s3 wifi tether" and im sure youll find it)

and not to sound like a jerk, but you might wanna correct the grevious spelling errors in your o.p. as "rotted with cmd" makes it sound like a food item that the CDC might want to check out LoL

LOL I'm trying to see what is actually on the phone. If it's jelly bean then no wifi tether except Sprint's will work. It's the dev's fault it's not compatible with JB yet. Slow dev -______- lol

Yes I got it from Sprint. Somehow Sprint cancelled my insurance. My screen quit working. They were nice enough to trade me for this phone so I can't complain.

Where do i get the 4.0 so I can flash it?

Check my signature and click on 'Stock' that's in Red and just read everything in the original post and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the help.

I've downloaded the full firmware all in one.

I think I need to wipe cache and delvic cache first then install.

Is there anything else?

You need the actual ROM. The all in one is just a modem. It'll either be odex (what comes on the phone normally) or deodex (makes it easier to theme)
