So I recently installed a kitkat ROM (cyanogenmod 11) not sure if that has anything to do with it, but today I wasn't able to send or recieve any calls or texts. Then a message pops up saying i need to activate my phone... Why is this happening? I have a sprint galaxy nexus

In Settings, About Phone, Status, have a look at "IMEI". dont post it here but does it have a lot of random numbers, a lot of zeros, or say "unknown" or "null"?
I think its normal, it starts with 99, it does have some zeroes and random numbers but I think its normal.
This happened yesterday , I rebooted, and then I could send texts and calls, but today a reboot didin't fix it. I'm thinking about calling sprint

Go to the dial pad and hit in the pad *#06# . do you have 15 digits that match the same as the other box or does this say null
It flashes my MEID number. Could this be a problem with my kitkat rom or should I just call sprint?

I'd try another rom or restore a nandroid n see what happens :thumbup:

Yes flash another rom or if its a nighty just take the next build either up or down . I had the problem with my device I had to edit the prop so that the radio time laps . it fixed but they fixed the rom with a edit to some lib file . that flashing happen and then you will get alot of zeros and 4 numbers at the end . . but yes flash another build . and post back .
